03.19.04 - Do I ever cross your mind, anytime? Do you ever wake up reaching out for me...

Dude/dudette...today totally sucked. Well, mainly, work sucked.
First: my road rage story: I come off of Hwy. 7 into the driveway of White Rose, and I almost hit a big black SUV. The woman driving this vehicle beeps loudly (as I would expect her to, and I would have as well...) and I sincerely yell "Sorry!" inside of my car...but of course, she couldn't hear that because unless you have some kind of dog-like hearing, nobody would have been able to. I travel over to the other side of the parking lot, park and I look out my rearview mirror; what do I see? That's right, the woman, in her big black SUV, waiting to prey on my innocence as I step out of my car. I think, "Oh shit..." and pretend (stupidly) to be looking for something frantically in the backseat, hoping that if I take long enough, she'll get the fricking point and leave. Unfortunately, she does not.
So I step out, and start walking and she says something like "YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME!"...Ok, perhaps I could have hit her, but kill her? That is highly unlikely unless she is admitting to herself the odd safety records of SUVs (I'm really just bitter and jealous of anyone who owns an SUV...I would love a Grand Cherokee if anyone is willing to pay...but I digress:). I say, "Look, I'm sorry, I was just in a rush. I am sincerely sorry." Then she gives me this whole lecture about teenagers being wreckless drivers while I am already late for work...and at this point, I'm pretty pissed off, cut her off and say, "Alright, I get the fricking point. I said I was sorry, and while I would stay a while longer to chat things up with you, I can't, because like I said, I'm in a rush". I storm off to the words, "Yeah? Well, we're all in a rush." Ok, lady.
Argh, so that was basically the low point of the day.

Hehe, ok, so today's couple of the day...(? Bad grammar, I apologize) is:
Bobby Donnell and Lindsay Dole from The Practice:

Alright, well the last time I watched the Practice was about 2 years ago (when it was still relatively good) but last I heard that these two were getting separated because Bobby kissed another woman? Anyway, their story plays out like a mini soap opera. Both of them work at the same law firm, then known as "Donnell and Associates" (later, all of them become partners, although Bobby remains senior partner). They have some kind of secret affair that we don't find out about until Bobby starts dating Lindsay's best friend, Assistant District Attorney Helen Frutt (was that her name? I forget...either way, she's played by Lara Flynn Boyle). So they sleep with eachother until the flame dies out, then there's a big, indescribable hoopla, get engaged when Lindsay's stabbed, get married at Fenway Park, and then have a baby. These two had a pretty strong hold on me throughout grade 8, although they are far from being the top couple, especially since the show has started to suck; the fact that I've stopped watching says a lot. They had a spark when they were first starting out, but after awhile, I stopped caring, not being able to put up with the ridiculous, yet repetitive situations these two were put in...So much lost potential, hahaha...
